How Much Protein Is Too Much In A Day?
Hello guys, I hope you all having a productive day!
In today's article, I will tell you how much protein is too much?
I see a lot of people getting really obsessed by the fact that we need protein to build muscles and in this dogma, they increase the protein dosage too high!
How much protein is too much and actually how much protein to maintain muscle.
Let's dive right into it!
Let's get straight to the point!
How much protein is too much??
It largely depends on your muscle mass and body weight.
What does that mean bro, explain?
I am assuming that you are into gym and fitness and work out a lot and that's why this question came in the first place that how much protein is too much?
Though the daily minimum dosage of protein is 56 grams for a normal man and 46 grams to a normal woman.
Here's the thing guys,
There is no fixed number to this!
If you are a gym beginner and you just have started going to the gym then your protein "too much" would be different from than that of an intermediate or an advanced lifter!
But, let's now keep things simple and sweet!
As I know, most of the guys that read my articles and ask the questions are around 18- 30 years old, at least the majority of them are.
Supplying too much protein in bodybuilding in the "beginners" and the "intermediate" category is just "too much"
I know that protein is damn important to build some decent muscles but it does not clearly mean that you jacking up boxes and boxes of protein and keep the protein from nutrition up.
NO! Strict No No!

For beginners and Intermediate Lifters:
Supplying too much protein in bodybuilding in the "beginners" and the "intermediate" category is just "too much"

NO! Strict No No!
And one more thing here guys,
By saying "protein"
I do not care if the protein is solely coming from the "NUTRITION" or from "SUPPLEMENTS", protein is protein and it does not matter where it is coming from.
If you supply more protein than usual, it definitely not gonna gain you some more muscles.
In return, there are some chances that you will mess up your kidneys.

The answer to this is the anabolic state.
What does that mean bro?
It is basically a state where the muscles are in a growing phase.
Again, let's talk straight and get right into how much protein to maintain muscle?
The best and simple answer to this I have for you is:
Just keep your protein intake that of 50% extra of your body weight.
I know the thing I just wrote above got jumped from the head up in the hills!
Let me explain,
For example, your weight is 80 kg.
So, by every means and forms and magic tricks, at least keep your daily protein intake higher than that of 80 grams per day.
Plus add a premium of 50%.
Which simply means if your weight is 80 Kg then you must consume 120 grams of protein just to maintain your muscles!
