    I will tell you the things that are to be taken care of so that you can gain muscles.

    You have to decide on what category you fall in and how much protein works best for you. Because there are levels to this thing!

    Case I.) You Are A Complete Beginner[0-1 Year Gym Experience]

    If you just had started going to the gym rn. And you are looking for how much protein do you need to build muscles.

    Because of the reason that you have no muscle maturity at all. You do not require that much protein than that of a person who is working out for, let's say 2 years or so.

    The protein intake that would work best for you in bodybuilding would be around 0.5 grams per pound body weight.


    For example,

    Your weight is 150 pounds then the protein you need for the whole day would be 75 grams.


    Beginner = 0.5 Grams Per Pound Bodyweight

    Case II.) You Are An Intermediate Lifter[1-3 Years]

    But, for the purpose of completing this article, let's talk about how much protein per pound of body weight do advanced lifters need?


    The advanced lifters have high strength levels, and their muscles can absorb much more protein than the above 2 categories.

    I say going with somewhere around 1.4 grams per pound bodyweight would be decent enough.


    For Example,

    Your weight is around 150 pounds so you need to take around 300 grams of protein per day to build some muscles.


    Advanced Lifters = 1.3-1.5 Grams Per Pound Bodyweight
